Artist's Comments

I used aniline, watercolor, and pencil for the hair details.
I love traditional painting, but takes more time and dedication. The only ones i've finished were the ones i had to turn in for school, otherwise i wasn't gonna pass the class hehe.

Bjork by ~vcolina was something I had to sit with for a minute or two before I got the full impact, which is odd, since it has a color depth and richness that is only cut through by the arresting rendition of Bjorks rather odd elfin features. It is a great mixed media work. (Suggested by *coxi and Featured by `zeruch)

aniline? What is it? I love the detail in the entire piece, but i wonder about the fingers.

still very cool
:iconvcolina:
aniline is like watercolor but totally liquid, it doesn't need to be mixed with water. Is like the essence of the color pigment, i think. The colors are harder to blend 'cause it dries faster, almost inmediatly and they doesn't give in if you want to blend it some more later with water. There's only magenta, cyan and yellow, so you gotta work with the color of the paper as your white. You have to be careful 'cause you can't cover your mistakes with white paint hehe.
